Vijay

I’m Vijayakumar from Chennai which is my native place and I live in Madipakkam. I’m married, and I have one son. I had worked as a QC in a medical transcription unit called “AVT Infotech Pvt. Ltd.” for five years. Now, currently I’m working in Newgen Imaging Systems (P) Ltd. as a Project coordinator in HarperCollins Department. Initially, I was thinking that I can lead a team only if I know the basics of all the processes in typesetting, but I was not sure whether it’ll be possible, and all of a sudden this training program came to my surprise. Now, I’ve joined the ‘One Member Cell’ training program. I would like to thank each and everybody individually who had faith in me for giving such a wonderful opportunity. My hobbies are to listen to Ilayaraja songs and to watch cricket. I’d like to spend more time with my family and friends.

Rajesh Kumar

I think it’s time to use this opportunity and also it’s my pleasure to add a few words about myself to this blog. I graduated in Psychology from Madras University. Then I started my career as a marketing executive and had many switchovers then finally I joined Newgen. My career goal is to work at my level best and give 100% efficiency whoever I work for. Swimming is my passion. I love swimming so I spend most of my time at beach resorts in the weekends. And about my hobbies, I don’t find anything remarkable to say, I surf the Net at my leisure.
I’ve joined Newgen as a copyeditor and I’ve been serving this company for nearly two years. Now, I would also like to add few words about the training in COE. The moment I heard that I was selected for COE, my joy was boundless and I felt like flying in the air. As I thought that I would meet some great people and gain more confidence, and it happened. I could meet new faculty members (trainers) who are really experts in their own field and getting training from them is absolutely valuable. They impart new skills and share their experiences with us. I am being given training to groom myself in various areas like, technical and soft skills (e.g., personality traits, language, self-management, leadership and optimism). I find this training very informative and it will have a great impact on me and I feel like I’m in the second phase of my career.
If I wasn’t given an attempt to write this COE qualifying test, I would have really missed something BIG.
